Job Title : Branch Manager Agency Channel (Life Insurance)
Locations : Gujarat : Ahmedabad
Salary Range : 1011 LPA (Based on experience & profile fit)
Job Summary :
We are hiring an experienced Branch Manager (Agency Channel) to lead a team of Front Line Sales Managers and on-roll sales teams to achieve branch business targets. The role involves driving life insurance sales through the Agency network ensuring agent licensing compliance and maintaining high-performance culture within the branch.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead manage & motivate Front Line Sales Managers and on-roll sales teams.
Achieve monthly / quarterly insurance sales targets for the branch.
Drive recruitment development & activation of high-quality agents.
Ensure agents clear the IRDA licensing exam and remain compliant.
Develop business growth strategies to increase productivity & market presence.
Conduct regular team reviews performance tracking & business reporting.
Ensure branch adherence to all regulatory and company guidelines.
Build a strong positive target-oriented work environment.
Candidate Requirements :
Industry & Channel Fit
Mandatory : Experience in Life Insurance Agency Channel only.
Candidates from Health General Insurance Broking Banca Direct Channels will NOT be considered .
Experience :
78 years of experience in Life Insurance Agency Channel.
Minimum 2 years of on-roll team handling is mandatory.
Experience handling only advisors / commission-based teams is not suitable .
Job Stability :
Must be stable in current company for at least 2 years OR
Have minimum 45 years stability in the immediate previous organization.
Location Fit :
Candidates must be local and able to reach the branch within 30 minutes .
Candidates with a permanent home in the location and earlier work experience in the same city (within Agency Channel) are acceptable.
Age Criteria :
Preferred age : 40 years.
Exceptional candidates with >
5 years stability in a single company may be considered above 40.
