We operate through two key sales channels Spinny Retail and Spinny Partners (B2B Auction platform).
- Retail : We purchase used cars on our inventory, refurbish them at our owned workshops, and sell them through our retail outlets in Hub and Park formats
- Auction : We enable digital auctions for used car dealers based on in-house inspection reports. Prices are offered to sellers only after a confirmed dealer bid, ensuring minimal inventory risk.
The Supply vertical (car procurement) is common to both channels.Every incoming car runs through the Auction platform for the best price discovery, leveraging our network of 10,000+ channel partners, including Spinny Retail.
SUPPLY CHANNELS
We operate two primary procurement channels :
G1 (Online C2B) : Direct sellers who connect with Spinny digitallyG3 (Offline B2B) : Partnerships with new car dealerships, OEMs, leasing companies and corporate sellersG1 SUPPLY FUNNEL
Lead Generation : Through Spinnys digital platforms (website and app)Inside Supply : A telecalling team that qualifies leads and schedules car evaluations at the customers preferred time and locationInspection Ops : A fleet of technical evaluators who work in defined slots, moving from one scheduled evaluation to another. Each evaluator starts and ends their day from their home locationClosure : A tele-sales team responsible for price negotiation with sellers. They attempt to bridge price gaps by collaborating with sales teams, and schedule delivery once the price is agreedDelivery Ops : A team of drivers and documentation agents who manage the final pickup, verify documentation, and trigger payment upon approval.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Ground Operations (G1 Supply) :
Oversee evaluation, delivery, documentation, and logistics for the G1 channelDrive key operational KPIs including fulfilment of scheduled evaluations and deliveries, operational SOP adherence, and quality metricsManage hiring, training, daily operational planning and performance monitoring for the on-ground fleet2. Scale G3 Channel (B2B Supply) :
Own the end-to-end funnel for the G3 channel from lead generation to final delivery and price negotiationsLead growth and P&L for the G3 vertical in the respective geographyDevelop and execute strategies to expand partnerships with new car dealerships to maximise procurements from the exchange enquiriesManage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) responsible for relationship management and lead generationREQUIREMENTS
3-6 yrs. of professional work experience, preferably have worked at a high growth startup / FMCG / FMCD in an execution driven role.Graduate from Tier 1 / 2 College / University.Good stakeholder management skills.Excellent written, communication, research, and analytical skills.Ability to think creatively about business problems and come up with solutions.Previous team management / leadership ability to lead teams of at least 15-20 members.
