Role Overview
The Product Manager – Two Wheeler Loans will drive end-to-end product performance across sourcing, digital journeys, portfolio quality, and process governance. The role ensures growth of direct business, strong control metrics through TQM, and seamless collaboration with Sales, Credit, Operations, Risk & Digital teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Business Growth
- Drive direct sourcing channels to meet business AOP targets.
- Design and optimize sourcing funnels for branch, field executives, connectors, and digital partners.
- Track productivity, funnel conversion, and partner efficiency.
2. Total Quality Management (TQM) & Process Governance
Ensure adherence to policy, process, and documentation norms across all channels.Conduct periodic process reviews and implement quality improvements across underwriting, operations, and sales.Monitor deviation trends, rework rates, PDD pendency, and audit observations.3. Monthly Performance Review (MPR) & Business Decks
Publish monthly MPR deck capturing sourcing, disbursements, portfolio, risk, and channel performance.Present insights, trends, competitor benchmarking, and actionables for business leadership.Create dashboards covering PAR, bucket movement, FOIR / LTV trends, ticket mix, geography-wise productivity, and channel health.4. Industry & Competition Data Analysis
Track industry trends (OEM retail, HCV registrations, EV trends, AUM shifts, delinquency trends).Publish monthly / quarterly insights for leadership on pricing shifts, product innovations, and competitive benchmarks.Recommend pricing adjustments, policy refinements, and new product constructs based on industry signals.5. Lead Management & Digital Funnel Optimisation
Own the complete lead lifecycle from generation → allocation → conversion → drop-off analysis.Improve TATs and plug leakages across login, credit, operations, partner APIs, and connector journeys.Build dashboards for lead performance across sources (organics, paid, connectors, branch sourcing).6. Online Channels & Customer Journey
Strengthen online pre-approved, DIY, and assisted journeys.Partner with digital teams to build and refine online application (OTP login, KYC, credit rule engine, bureau fetch, offer stage, document upload, e-sign).Monitor CPL, CPA, attribution, funnel conversion, and online disbursement run-rates.7. Operations Process – Disbursement to PDD Closure
Define and update E2E operations SOP from file login → credit → operations → disbursement → PDD closure.Track PDD pendency, stage-wise SLA adherence, tagging accuracy, and document quality.Improve efficiency in cheque generation, disbursement TAT, agreement storage, and post-disbursement documentation.Coordinate with Ops for digitization of PDD checklists, file movement, and audit readiness.Skills & Competencies
Graduate / Post-Graduate, MBA preferred3–8 years of experience in Two-Wheeler / Auto Loans / Retail Lending ProductStrong analytical capability and data storytellingUnderstanding of underwriting, operations & credit principlesExperience in digital journeys, APIs, fintech connectorsCross-functional leadership with Sales, Credit, Ops & TechProficient in Excel, SQL / PowerBI (preferred), MIS & dashboardsGood communication and stakeholder management
