Junior Engineer, Infrastructure

Qualifications

B.E. (Agri Infrastructure) / B. Tech in Civil or Diploma in Civil / Agriculture Engineering with 3 years working experience

05 years’ in design and infrastructure development, preferably in Agriculture / Horticulture infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Base line survey for availability of water resources in clusters. Designing of water bodies structure to assure the irrigation facility for cluster. And Preparation DPR of infrastructure in consultation with stakeholders of project. MB of newly created / rejuvenated water resources and other infrastructures.
• Coordinate with line agencies for pre- and post-harvest infrastructure development;
• Support the Manager, Infrastructure in preparation of Annual Action Plan as well as DPR for supply chain development and infrastructure
• Assist in procurement of contactors / suppliers for pre- and post-harvest infrastructure development;
• Review and assist to modify the existed pre- and post-harvest infrastructure development and improvement of facilities;
• Technical guidance on post-harvest development;
• Evaluation of proposals submitted by entrepreneurs for various infrastructure.
• Prepare monthly plans, reports, field notes, thought papers and other documents.
• Preparation of information / reports / road map etc. as per directions of District Implementation Unit & Project Management Unit.
• Coordination with PMU / PMC.
• Execution of prepared annual action plan in the clusters.

Any other work assigned by authority of project.
