Position Title : Facilities Manager

Location : Corporate Office, Hyderabad (with travel to campuses as required)

Experience : 6–12 years (with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role)

We’re hiring a Facilities Manager for our client, a leading educational organisation with multiple campuses across Hyderabad. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all locations, with a strong focus on maintenance, safety, compliance, and effective team management.

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Overseeing all campus facility operations including maintenance of buildings, classrooms, IT labs, furniture, electrical, plumbing, and civil works.
• Managing facility standards for housekeeping, security, and campus ambiance.
• Coordinating and supervising maintenance for both preventive and corrective needs, including contracts (AMC) for equipment like elevators, HVAC, and DG sets.
• Managing budgets and cost-optimisation for facilities across multiple campuses, and maintaining an asset register and maintenance logs.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, fire & safety norms, and building codes, including conducting drills and audits.
• Leading and managing various teams including Maintenance technicians, Electricians, Plumbers, Supervisors, Housekeeping, and Security Personnel.
• Responding promptly to emergency repairs, breakdowns, and safety-related issues.
• Liaising with Principals, Operations, SCM, and government authorities (Fire Dept., Municipality) as required.

Requirements

6–12 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Experience managing multi-location facilities, preferably within schools or educational institutions.

Strong knowledge of building maintenance, safety protocols, vendor management, and statutory compliance.

Ability to standardize processes and SOPs across all units and coordinate with principals and admin staff.

Strong interpersonal, conflict-management, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in managing inventory, procurement, and facility-related budgets.
