Job Description :

BID.ai is hiring a Mobile App Developer Intern to join the mobile engineering team working on our AI-powered marketplace app where users can buy & sell new, used, and refurbished products.

The mobile app integrates with backend services built on Node.js & PostgreSQL and uses Python automation to generate smart product details.

We are looking for driven individuals who want to build scalable production-level mobile apps and grow with a real-world team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop UI and components for the Bid.ai mobile app.

Integrate APIs with backend (Node.js + PostgreSQL)

Manage app performance, debugging and issue fixing

Collaborate with designers and team for smooth integration

Write clean, reusable and maintainable code following best practices

Follow structured Git workflow & maintain clean, reusable code

Take ownership and deliver tasks reliably within deadlines

✅Requirements

Strong understanding of Kotlin (Android) development

Knowledge of REST APIs, Node.js , Express and JSON handling with Retrofit or Ktor-client

Familiarity with State management (LiveData / StateFlow)

Understanding of application lifecycle & navigation architecture

Database knowledge (PostgreSQL / Firebase)

Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills(Preferred) :

Experience with push notifications & device permissions

Knowledge of MVVM Architecture

Experience integrating third-party libraries (like Koin, Retrofit, KTOR-client etc.)

Have worked previously with Payment Gateways (like Stripe, Razorpay etc.)

Knowledge of basic python automation

UI / UX understanding & pixel-perfect screen building

Addition Details : Work Mode :

Remote during probation(initial period)

On-site (Prayagraj office) after probation
