Role Purpose :
The position is responsible for leading the legal function across multiple geographies (APAC, India, EMEA, USA, and others) providing strategic legal guidance to support global business operations. This includes overseeing a regional legal team, driving compliance, mitigating legal and business risks and managing complex commercial agreements to ensure seamless business execution.
Key Responsibilities :
1.Legal Strategy & Governance
- Formulate and execute legal strategies aligned with organizational goals across global regions.
- Advise GEO leaders on legal risks, compliance considerations, and contractual obligations.
2.Business Agreement Review & Negotiation
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide spectrum of contracts, including :EULA (End User License Agreements)MSA (Master Service Agreements)ATS (Application Testing Services Agreements)AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts)License and Evaluation AgreementsRFPs and related annexuresEnsure all agreements comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and risk management standards.3.Business Legal Support
Address business queries related to contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.Provide legal opinions on new business initiatives, partnerships, and strategic programs.4.Due Diligence & Compliance
Support the business team in completing Customer Due Diligence, onboarding checks, and risk assessments.5.Litigation & Notices
Draft and respond to legal notices, manage disputes, and liaise with external counsel on litigation and arbitration matters.6.Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of legal professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous capability enhancement.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong command of contract law, commercial agreements, and international compliance frameworks.Proven experience with EULA, MSA, ATS, AMC, and License Agreements.Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.Ability to manage multi-jurisdictional legal matters and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : LLB / LLM from a reputed and recognized institution.Experience : 12–15 years of experience in Business Legal roles, preferably with exposure to multi-region operations across APAC, EMEA, and the USA.Demonstrated expertise in managing complex commercial agreements, overseeing the contract lifecycle, and leading end-to-end dispute resolution processes.
