As part of our expansion We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage payroll processing for our Canada and US operations. The ideal candidate will possess solid bookkeeping expertise experience handling vendor invoicing and payment follow-ups a thorough understanding of payroll regulations and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with international teams and clients.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and manage end-to-end payroll for Canada and US employees in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Handle vendor invoicing verify billing details and ensure timely approval and recording of vendor invoices.
• Track and manage outstanding vendor payments perform payment follow-ups and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular bookkeeping tasks including accounts reconciliation journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review payroll reports tax filings and statutory contributions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to payroll accounts payable and bookkeeping.
• Coordinate with HR finance vendors and external partners to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Stay updated on Canadian and US payroll legislation and accounting standards.
• Communicate effectively with management and teams to resolve discrepancies or accounting queries promptly.
