Work Experience :
- 8–12 years of total experience in software engineering or data systems.
- 2–4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Prior experience managing cross-functional teams (Tech + Analytics) preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms is a plus.
Skills Required :
Strong technical foundation in microservices architecture, cloud systems (AWS), CI / CD, and API design.Experience leading teams using Node.js, React.js, Python, Django, MySql, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.Proficiency with project management and agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).Understanding of data analytics, event tracking, SQL, RedShift, BigQuery, Power BI, and reporting frameworks.Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and DevOps practices.Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.Ability to define and track engineering KPIs (velocity, release success rate, bug ratio, SLA adherence) and analytics KPIs (data accuracy, reporting latency, dashboard usage).Responsibilities :
Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams comprising Backend, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Data Analytics engineers.Own delivery of all tech and data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and OKRs.Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to define quarterly objectives and translate them into executable sprints.Set up and maintain processes for code quality, release management, and deployment reliability.Work closely with analytics to ensure event tracking, data pipelines, and reporting accuracy.Identify and resolve tech bottlenecks to improve system performance and stability.Drive automation, observability, and continuous improvement across development and operations.Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability, and measurable impact.Review KPIs and OKRs with the leadership team monthly, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded.
