Electrical Engineer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage power stations and transmission lines. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage engineering activities related to the design, installation, and commissioning of 132kV, 66kV, and 11kV substations and transmission lines.

Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Supervise on-site electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project timelines.

Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to integrate electrical systems into overall infrastructure.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.

Assist in procurement and evaluation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and control panels.

Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations.

Ensure all electrical work is executed in compliance with international and local electrical codes and safety standards.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in high-voltage power station and transmission line projects (132kV / 66kV / 11kV).

Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).

Strong understanding of power system protection, grounding, and testing protocols.

Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
