Sales Executive – Educational Travel (Chennai, Tamil Nadu)
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with a passion for education and travel. The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle and, more importantly, existing relationships or a strong background in working with schools in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu . This role is perfect for someone who understands the academic calendar, school decision-making processes, and can confidently drive educational tour sales.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with school principals, coordinators, and education leaders
- Maintain consistent communication with existing client schools to encourage repeat business
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline for school travel programs
- Understand the regional school landscape to identify opportunities and pitch relevant tours
- Analyze competition and establish strategic advantages
- Track and report metrics to ensure performance targets are met
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the education or travel sectorProven track record of managing the full sales cycle, including deal closureStrong network in Chennai / Tamil Nadu school ecosystem is a mustExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsExperience working with educational institutions is highly preferred
