Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Commercial & Pre-Sales Executive who can manage end-to-end commercial activities, including financial modelling, preparing quotations, supporting B2B product sales, and maintaining project trackers. The ideal candidate should have strong business communication skills, basic programming knowledge, and experience working with SaaS or technology-based products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial & Commercial Activities

Build and maintain

financial models , pricing sheets, cost–benefit analyses, and ROI projections.

Prepare and manage

quotations, proposals, and commercial offers

for clients.

Support in RFP / RFQ preparation, tender documentation, and negotiation.

2. Sales & Pre-Sales (B2B)

Engage with B2B clients to understand requirements and propose suitable product solutions.

Collaborate with the sales team to drive

product sales , demos, and client presentations.

Assist in preparing product decks, case studies, and solution documents.

3. Technical & SaaS Involvement

Work with the product / tech team to understand

SaaS features and product capabilities .

Possess experience or basic knowledge in

any programming language

(Java / Python / JavaScript / C++ / SQL etc.) to understand technical workflows and integrations.

Support clients with product usage, onboarding, and documentation.

4. Project Tracking & Coordination

Maintain a

project tracker

to monitor progress, timelines, deliverables, and client updates.

Coordinate with internal teams (Tech, Sales, Support, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of all ongoing projects.

Report project status, risks, and action plans to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fields.

3–5 years of experience in B2B Sales, Pre-Sales, Commercial Management, or SaaS environment.

Strong knowledge of

financial modelling , proposal preparation, and commercial documentation.

Hands-on experience in at least

one programming language

(beginner / intermediate level).

Understanding of SaaS products, APIs, and technology processes (added advantage).

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.

Preferred

Experience in the software or technology product domain.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
