Job Description – CounsellorDesignation / Role : Associate CounsellorDepartment : Online Counselling Location : Work From Home (WFH) Experience : 1-5 Year No. of Positions : 4 Preferred Industry : Ed-Tech Target Companies : Any company with Inside Sales / Education Counselling background Language Requirement : ODIA, TAMIL and TELUGU+ Hindi + English (Mandatory)Role Overview : The Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the counseling process, understanding their learning needs, and providing suitable course recommendations. The role requires strong communication skills in Odia, Hindi, and English, along with the ability to drive conversions through effective counselling.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct telephonic and online counselling sessions with prospective students.Understand candidates’ educational background, career goals, and recommend appropriate courses.Track and follow up on leads to convert inquiries into enrollments.Maintain detailed records of student interactions in the CRM system.Provide accurate information about courses, fees, schedules, and learning outcomes.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through a consultative approach.Coordinate with internal teams for smooth enrollment and onboarding processes.Meet weekly and monthly counselling and conversion targets.Required Skills & CompetenciesMandatory : Fluency in Odia, Hindi, and English.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand and address student queries with empathy.Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve targets.Good understanding of the Ed-Tech domain (preferred).Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM tools.Preferred BackgroundExperience in Ed-Tech, Inside Sales, Telesales, or Educational Counselling.Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales / counselling targets.
