Job Description
Payroll Processing
Collect and verify employee attendance, timesheets, and leave data.
Calculate salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements.
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time (monthly / bi-weekly / weekly).
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory deductions such as :
Provident Fund (PF)
Employee State Insurance (ESI)
Professional Tax (PT)
Income Tax (TDS)
Gratuity and other benefits
File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns as required.
Payroll Software Management
Use payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, GreytHR, Zoho People, etc.) for processing.
Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system.
Salary Disbursement
Coordinate with the finance department / banks for timely salary disbursal.
Generate and distribute payslips to employees.
Employee Queries & Support
Handle payroll-related queries such as salary breakup, tax deduction, and discrepancies.
Provide assistance with investment declarations and Form 16 distribution.
