Job Description : IP & Partner Management Intern
Role Summary
Responsible for managing the organization’s intellectual property (IP) portfolio and overseeing strategic partnerships to support innovation, research, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end IP lifecycle : idea capture, evaluation, tracking, and renewals.
- Coordinate with inventors, legal teams, and external patent attorneys to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
- Maintain IP databases, dashboards, and documentation.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, research institutes, and innovation ecosystems.
- Handle partner onboarding, agreements (NDAs / MoUs), governance meetings, and performance tracking.
- Support internal innovation programs, campaigns, and IP awareness initiatives.
- Monitor competitor IP trends and assist with prior-art searches or Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of patent processes and IP management.Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.Technical or legal background preferred (Engineering / Science / Law).Knowledge of IP, innovation, and partner / vendor management roles.
