Asian News International (ANI) is seeking a dynamic and driven Digital Monetisation Sales Lead to accelerate revenue growth through brand partnerships, advertising sales, and sponsorship opportunities. The role demands a deep understanding of digital media monetisation and a strong network within the advertising and media ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Source and close advertising and brand sponsorship opportunities across ANI’s digital platforms and content verticals.
2) Identify and develop new customer segments to scale ANI’s digital product portfolio and drive incremental revenue.
3) Pitch content inventory and branded content opportunities to advertisers, media-buying agencies, and brand partners.
4) Build and sustain strong relationships with PR firms, media-buying agencies, and direct clients.
5) Collaborate with internal teams - content, marketing, and analytics - to design integrated brand campaigns and creative monetization solutions.
6) Conduct monthly sales pipeline reviews, ensuring timely reporting, forecasting, and target achievement.
Qualifications & Skills :
i) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media, or a related field.
ii) 5+ years of experience in digital ad sales, brand partnerships, or media monetisation (preferably within a news or digital media organization).
iii) Established network of contacts with agencies, advertisers, and brand partners.
iv) Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
v) Understanding of digital ad performance metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR, etc.) and audience analytics tools.
