MEP Engineer

Experience : 3–4 Years Location : AhmedabadCompany : Sudarshan CAD TechnologiesEmployment Type : Full-TimeJob Description : We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer with strong knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The candidate should be able to design, review, coordinate, and manage MEP works as per project requirements and industry standards.Key Responsibilities : Prepare and review MEP drawings, layouts, models, and BOQs.Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers for MEP integration.Perform load calculations, HVAC design, ducting layouts, and equipment selection.Review and finalize electrical layouts, cable sizing, panel schedules, and lighting designs.Prepare plumbing and firefighting layouts, pump sizing, and drainage designs.Conduct site visits to monitor MEP installation and ensure quality standards.Identify design issues, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with codes.Collaborate with BIM team for MEP modeling and clash detection.Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project progress updates.Required Skills : Hands-on experience in MEP designing & coordination.Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant MEP tools.Understanding of IS codes, NBC, and other industry standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Good communication and teamwork skills.Education : Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
