We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Floor Manager to help lead daily operations at our new European Bistro situated in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate has a proven background in managing high-quality, service-driven dining establishments—preferably with experience in European or casual fine dining concepts. A strong communicator with a passion for hospitality, this person will ensure seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities : Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service across all shifts.
- Maintain consistent food and service standards in line with the restaurant’s brand and concept.
- Manage inventory, ordering, wastage control, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing standards.
Team Management
Lead, train, motivate, and mentor front-of-house staff to deliver best-in-class hospitality.Schedule staff efficiently based on operational needs and budgets.Foster a positive work culture that supports teamwork, accountability, and growth.Guest Relations
Uphold high levels of guest satisfaction through attentive service and problem resolution.Engage with guests, manage special requests, and address feedback proactively.Ensure personalised service and consistency for regular clientele.Communication & Coordination
Maintain strong coordination between FOH and BOH teams.Communicate effectively with chefs, owners, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.Lead or participate in briefings, meetings, and training sessions.Requirements :
2–3 years of experience in a high-volume or premium dining environment.Strong leadership abilities with proven team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Preferred :
Prior experience in a European bistro or similar concept.Knowledge of wines, European cuisine, and service standards is a plus.
