About this role

The CloudOps Engineer will support the design, deployment, and governance of our cloud infrastructure. This role will help to support the strategic approach to building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud systems while ensuring that proper operations guardrails are in place.

The role will be responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of cloud operations,

from architecture to monitoring and cost management, and driving best practices

across the organisation.

Skills & Experience

Must have :

• 5+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or SRE, with a significant focus on both AWS (preferred) and Azure cloud environments.
• Strong experience managing Windows Server environments, including troubleshooting, patching, and automation.
• Experience with capacity planning, scaling strategies, and availability management in distributed cloud systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CDK (TypeScript), Terraform, or automation scripts in Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines such as Octopus Deploy or Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to architect and maintain secure, highly available cloud environments.
• Experience in managing cloud costs and optimizing usage through FinOps strategies.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
