Role : GIS Developer

Description :

We are seeking an experienced GIS Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing GIS applications and will be responsible for creating solutions that leverage spatial data for various projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop GIS applications and tools to support various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Manage and manipulate spatial data using GIS software and databases.
  • Perform spatial analysis and create visualizations to support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain and update GIS datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with spatial databases like PostGIS or Oracle Spatial.
  • Familiarity with web mapping technologies such as Leaflet or OpenLayers.
  • Knowledge of geospatial data formats (e.g., Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML).
  • Understanding of cartography and data visualization principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
