Job Role

Design, implement, configure, and manage Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions

Perform policy configuration, rule base design, and traffic filtering on enterprise networks

Handle firewall migration, upgrades, and HA (High Availability) setup

Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and incident response related to firewall infrastructure

Collaborate with SOC / NOC teams to ensure network security posture is up to date

Generate reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with security standards

Key Skills

Strong experience with Palo Alto NGFW (PAN-OS, Panorama)

Expertise in Security Policies, NAT, VPN (IPSec / SSL), URL Filtering, App-ID, Content-ID

Familiarity with network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)

Knowledge of firewall clustering, HA, and load balancing concepts

Experience with threat prevention, WildFire, and logging / reporting tools

Good understanding of network security architecture and best practices

Certifications preferred : PCNSE / PCNSA / CCNP Security
