Job description

Position : Business Development Manager Natural Stone.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners Architects, Interior Designer, HNI Clients to grow business for the company.

This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills.

As a key player in expanding the product lines, the BDM will focus on creating new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, managing key accounts, and executing growth strategies to position CMC as a leader in the Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's product offerings within the specified regions (Natural Marble, Kalinga, Terrazzo, Porcelain Surfaces).

  • Build and execute strategic plans to drive growth and market presence across these product lines, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Generate business through Architects, Interior Designers& if required with Contractors, Builders.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee key account management to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing models that support business objectives.
  • Manage the sales process, from lead generation to contract signing, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies and enhance CMCs market Bachelor's / master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8 to 15 years' prior industry within the building materials industry (marble, granite, tiles, ceramics, sanitary ware, etc.

Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong business acumen with expertise in market analysis, strategy development, and sales execution.
  • In-depth understanding of the building materials industry, including Natural Marble, Kalinga, Terrazzo, and Porcelain Surfaces.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business expansion and client engagement.
