Job Description :
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant with experience in the petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building long-term client relationships, and supporting business growth by identifying new market opportunities and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities (KRA) :
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the petrochemical / plastics / rubber segment
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through direct and channel sales
- Build strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical / product recommendations
- Conduct regular market research to analyze competitor activity and market trends
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms while maintaining profitability
- Coordinate with internal teams for order fulfillment, delivery, and after-sales support
- Track sales pipeline and update CRM tools with lead status and customer interactions
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking sessions
Required Skillsets :
Proven track record in B2B industrial sales, preferably in petrochemical, plastics, or rubber sectorsStrong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of polymers, chemical compositions, or industrial applicationsAbility to understand and explain technical product specifications to clientsExperience with CRM software and sales reporting toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive sales approachWillingness to travel frequently for client visits and industry degree in Business Administration2-4 years of relevant sales experience in the petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industry
Additional certifications in industrial sales or product management will be a plus
