Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP MySQL and other related technologies.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean well-structured and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Design and implement APIs for various applications enhancing their functionality.
Document development processes code changes and application interfaces.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and development trends to ensure best practices.
Work closely with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues providing timely support.
Contribute to database design and optimization for performance improvements.
Manage version control systems ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
Collaborate with UX / UI designers to enhance applications user experience.
Participate in agile development processes including sprints and daily stand-ups.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior developers as needed.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.

Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel Symfony or CodeIgniter.

Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript.

Experience with MySQL and database management.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Knowledge of API development and integration methodologies.

Solid understanding of web security practices and protocols.

Experience with agile development methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

2 years of experience in PHP development.

Experience with caching mechanisms and web performance optimizations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
