Job Overview
As an MEP Resident Engineer with NV5 Mission Critical, you will play a pivotal role in our mission-critical projects. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Mumbai, requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. You will join a dynamic team focused on sector-specific engineering, where your expertise will drive our projects to success. The role demands high proficiency in managing MEP systems and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in MEP coordination with a knack for integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems seamlessly (Mandatory skill).
- Proficient in documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and compliance with relevant standards (Mandatory skill).
- Proven experience as an MEP Resident Engineer, demonstrating effective project management under challenging conditions (Mandatory skill).
- Technical expertise in MEP systems enabling effective decision-making and problem-solving.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems to ensure efficient climate control and building operations.
- Expertise in electrical systems to guarantee adequate power supply and safety features are embedded.
- Effective site supervision skills to oversee and direct the work of technical personnel and subcontractors.
- Commitment to quality assurance, ensuring projects meet the highest industry standards and client expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and verification of MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of MEP systems, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.Assist in preparing detailed project documentation, reports, and records for all phases of MEP projects.Collaborate with design and construction teams to provide technical guidance and recommendations.Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with specifications.Conduct inspections and mock-ups to validate system functionality and compliance with requirements.Resolve any design or construction conflicts promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
