Job Description

Strategic Leadership :

Define and drive the overall strategy, roadmap, and execution for the LAP business.

Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth levers.

Ensure alignment with the company's broader strategic objectives.

P&L Ownership :

Drive business performance across disbursements, portfolio yield, cost control, and profitability.

Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.

Sales & Distribution :

Build and scale a high-performing sales and distribution network across geographies.

Lead channel strategy, direct sales, DSA partnerships, and digital sourcing initiatives.

Drive customer acquisition and retention through differentiated offerings.

Product & Innovation :

Own the LAP product suite - structure, pricing, customer segments, and features.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product innovation and digitization.

Benchmark products with market trends and customer needs.

Risk & Credit :

Work closely with risk and credit teams to build robust underwriting frameworks.

Ensure a healthy portfolio with strong delinquency and NPA control mechanisms.

Technology & Operations :

Drive process automation and digital transformation to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Ensure smooth operations, TAT optimization, and compliance across the LAP value chain.

Team Management :

Lead, mentor, and grow a large cross-functional team across regions.

Foster a performance-driven and collaborative culture.

The Successful Applicant

15+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with significant exposure to LAP or secured lending.

Proven track record in building and scaling LAP businesses across geographies.

Strong P&L management and strategic thinking capabilities.

Deep understanding of credit, risk, and regulatory frameworks in the Indian context.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from a reputed institute preferred.
