Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure with a focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Maintain and configure enterprise-wide firewalls, VPNs, and security policies to ensure secure network access and data transmission.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using threat detection tools and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security aligns with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Perform regular network risk assessments and vulnerability scans, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Configure and maintain network routing and switching environments, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions to maintain uninterrupted services.
• Document network architecture, security configurations, and changes made to infrastructure for audit and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to continuously enhance network defenses.
