JOB DESCRIPTION : SENIOR ARCHITECT

Qualification : Diploma / Bachelors / Masters in Architecture

Experience :  10- 13+years (fewer experience years will not be considered)

Salary : as per experience / knowledge and to be negotiated on the basis of the candidate’s current salary.

PRELIMINARY SKILLS

  • The candidate to be a Design Conceptualizer and develop Project Designs with related detailed drawings and BOQs
  • To have a working background in a similar Boutique Company as BRIC Designs
  • The person to represent the BRIC Design ideas with Confidence in speech & technical

skills & knowledge to the clients.

  • Develop exclusive design ideas with the latest finishes and value adds
  • Expertise to develop detailed BOQs
  • Added advantage to have a foreign school of education or a work experience
  • Candidates preferably from the Western Lines due to the travel issues in Mumbai.

    • PRIMARY KEY SKILLS

  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial, Residential, & Institutional Architectural

    • Projects  planning & execution

  • Singularly responsible for leading and managing the projects from Design

    • conceptualization stage, planning, coordination, detailed drawing development,

    execution to final project handover.

  • Expertise in drafting technical drawings with knowledge of material products and it's

    • Applications

  • Work closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers,

    • construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists

  • Coordinate with Project coordinator / Architecture / Structural and MEP Consultants &

    • Liaison Architects

  • Knowledge of technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and health & safety

    • regulations

  • Direct and manage other supporting staff in the delegation of work and oversee the

    • provision of assistance on projects as necessary.

  • Extremely active in the preparation of BOQ as per the allocated budget
  • Strong presentation skills and confident interactions with the client
  • Disciplined and systematic in work deliverable
  • Open to travel, and be available for all the ongoing project sites visits to proposed

    • locations and client meetings

    DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Competent and professional Interaction with Clients, quick understanding of

    • the  Projects

  • Translate the Design ideas into sketches
  • Monitor the design process from conception to construction administration to ensure

    • consistency of Design ideas for every assigned project

  • Interact with building officials during project permitting and construction phases
  • Understanding of building technologies and environmental design and the ability to

    • employ structural practice, construction techniques

  • Strictly monitor preparation / updates of technical drawings from the assigned team of

    • architects chiefly the Design Associate

  • In-depth knowledge and adherence to the prepared Bills of Quantities and the same to

    • be updated on exclusions or inclusions of items

  • Available constantly to the assigned Site supervisor and the project team for any

    • queries and solutions
