About the Role

BalanceHero’s Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and managing data warehouse (DW) and BI systems based on Athena. The role involves working on data modeling, metadata management, and data visualization to support various teams such as Marketing, Risk, Data Science, and Decision Science.

About the Responsibilities

• Building and managing Athenabased Data Warehouse (DW)
• Operating and developing BI systems, including dashboard development and maintenance
• Modeling and developing Data Marts, improving (or redeveloping) legacy BI marts
• Building and managing data metadata information using OpenMeta
• Analyzing and supporting data requirements from teams such as Marketing, Risk, Data Science, and Decision Science
• Developing and operating data metrics and visualization systems
• Establishing companywide data standards and ensuring data quality
