Position Title : Engineer II- Mechanical (TTIC)

Position Summary :

We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovation team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and innovation of new-to-world technologies that push the boundaries of mechanical engineering. As a key contributor in our innovation department, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive groundbreaking advancements in products and systems. This role requires a understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The selected engineer will :

Lead the conceptualization, design, and prototyping of new-to-world technologies and mechanical systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Electronics, Firmware, chemical, IOT etc.) to ensure seamless integration of innovative mechanical solutions.
Perform detailed mechanical & thermal analysis and simulations using state-of-the-art engineering tools to evaluate the feasibility and performance of new designs.
Develop and execute testing protocols to validate new designs and ensure they meet functional, safety, and regulatory standards, ready to be mass produced.
Explore and apply cutting-edge materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies to improve design efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform and inspire innovation and integrate relevant insights to the assigned work.
Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate design concepts, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout the design and development process.
Support the development of intellectual property (IP), including patents and proprietary technologies.
Organize and manage product field trials, gathering feedback from users and take improvement measures to optimize systems designed.

Skills and Experience Requirements :

Bachelor / master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Experience of minimum 5 years with proven experience in mechanical engineering.

Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor). Exposure to simulation process is a plus.

Strong analytical skills, creative & innovative thinking, problem solving abilities.

Demonstrated track record of successful new technology introduction, new product development, innovation (patents), market implementation and thorough knowledge of development processes in relevant field. Exposure in white and brown goods industry would be added advantage.

Ability to draft technical drawings, P&ID diagrams.

Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience with Refrigeration / HVAC systems for commercial applications will be added advantage.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey intricate ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to water / HVAC / refrigeration industry.

Understanding of IOT tech and water technologies.

Travel

This position will require 10% domestic and / or international travel.
