Evolving annual man power and capital / revenue budget including specific software requirements.
Providing guidance on technical issues to Dy. Department Managers / Group Leaders / Lead Engineers from time to time for cost and schedule effective solutions.
Participating and / or providing support and guidance to Design Reviews, P&I-D Reviews, Safety studies, HAZOP, Plot Plan Reviews and 3D Model reviews.
Reviewing, analysing & resolving design requirements, discrepancies & inferences within area of discipline with project engineer, Clients & Contractors as required.
Participating and contributing to Risk Management and Value Engineering Workshops for Projects.
Providing inputs to top management for proposal feasibility.
Approval, issuance and revision of management systems documents of the department.
Approval and execution of corrective and preventive actions.
Approval of design and engineering documents of critical significance wherein the review of such documents is carried out by Deputy Department Manager.
Approval of disposition procedure for nonconformity found in the department. Relationships Management
