Key Accountabilities -

• Need to have good understanding of Cost Savings, VMI (Vendor managed Inventory), Negotiations,
• Work with the cross functional departments to ensure smooth functioning of production lines by maintaining optimum level of inventory.
• Leverage Oracle MRP to implement robust business processes that allow for continuous improvement of materials management
• Develops long range planning initiatives for Suppliers, which include continuously evaluating the plant’s needs, capacities, capital, expenses, etc to meet growth goals
• Negotiation with supplier for non Stock & capital items.
• Continuous coordination with PPC, Stores, Quality team for to reduce excess inventory and for smooth unloading of vehicles.
• Updating score card (OTD) of suppliers.
• Resolve supplier critical issues and monthly monitoring of Open PO’s.
• Maintain Document for Internal / External Audit, Continuous visit / Audit to supplier.
• Share monthly forecast with supplier and Preapring monthly schedule for supplier.
• Updating daily rm shortage sheet.
• Follow up with suppliers for delivery and other shortage of item as per requirement.
• Sending monthly schedule to respective supplier and tracking their deliveries
• Preparing rm visibility of 3 days / weekly as per the ppc shortage sheet.
• Making PO and sending them to suppliers
• Other supporting activities like follow up with finance for payment, vehicle unloading in store
• And other duties assigned by supervisor.
