Job Description :
Microchip AES Design team is looking for an experienced and motivated Physical Design Technical
Staff Engineer to implement RTL2GDSII for larger SOCs. As a member of Physical Design team, you will be
responsible for place and route, timing closure and physical verification checks for multiple blocks and top level.
The candidate should have experience with Physical Design tools. The candidate should have in depth
knowledge of Innovus / ICC2 tool execution.
The employee is responsible for complete physical design of multiple large & complex blocks & sub-system
implementation 16nm / 6nm / 3nm and below technology nodes. The employee is expected to take ownership of Full
Chip / multiple complex design & flow challenges, which would include :
communicate status to leads
Requirements / Qualifications :
This position requires at least B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics with 12+ years of Physical Design experience in
a fast-paced environment with following experience.
Physical Verification (DRC / LVS) and Signal Integrity
projects
or Voltus, Starrcxt or QRC)
Travel Time : 0% - 25%
