Senior Scientific Manager - Assay Development and Screening

Responsibilites :

Thecandidatemustpossessstrongskillsetsindevelopingandrunningcell-basedandbiochemicalassayswith ameticulousandmethodicalapproachtodeliverhigh-qualityscreeningandcompoundprofilingdata.Therole includeson-boardingnewplatformsandcapabilitiesincellbiology,oncology,inflammationandimmuno-oncology,designingandconductingphenotypic,molecularandcell-basedassaysforevaluationofdisease pathophysiologyandtargetsintheabove-mentionedareas.Thecandidatewillalsoberesponsiblefor mentoringhis / herteamandhandlingclientprojectsaslead.

• Candidateshouldhaveexcellentexperienceinhigh-throughputscreeningacrossdiverseplatformsin bothbiochemicalandcell-basedassaysandbeverywellversedinusingstateoftheartliquidhandlers(e.gECHO,Biomek,Certusetc)
• Candidateswithnichecompetenciesinareasoftranslationalassays,primarycell-basedassays,high-contentscreening,neuroscienceandiPSCs’experiencewillhaveanaddedadvantage
• Beabletodevelopandoptimizevariousassays,abilitytoestablishandvalidatenovelprotocols.
• Possessexcellenttroubleshootingskills.
• Capableofeffectiveplanningandorganizingworkactivities,prioritizingtaskcompletion,andmeeting deadlines.
• Shouldbeanindependentthinkerandbehighlyorganized,motivated,andversatilewithstrongteam ethics.
• Strongmentoringskills
• Excellentdocumentationskills.
• ExcellentoralandwrittencommunicationskillsCandidateshouldbeateamplayer,goaloriented,abletohandledeadlinesandworkpressure,operate independently,payattentiontodetailsandprocessesandencourageinnovativethinking.Required Education Qualification & Relevant Experience : Must have 8-12years’experiencepostPhDinourinvitropharmacologyassaydevelopmentandscreeningdepartment.
