Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled API Interface Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining application programming interfaces (APIs) that facilitate seamless communication between various software applications. This role requires a strong understanding of API architecture, integration techniques, and knowledge of C#, .NET, Angular and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement high-performance APIs that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with software developers and teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of APIs through best practices in API design and development.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for API endpoints, usage guidelines, and integration processes.
Conduct testing and validation of APIs to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams on API usage and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in API development and integration.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript.

Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP API design principles and protocols.

Experience with API management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).

Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server) and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and microservices architecture.

Knowledge of API security standards and best practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
