Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development :

• Designed, developed, and maintained test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Write and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Assurance :
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across different platforms and environments.
• Analyze test results and collaborate with developers to resolve Integration :
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines using tools like :
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards and best and Metrics :
• Report test progress, defects, and other quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and drive improvements to the testing :
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in testing microservices-based architectures.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to improve processes and tools.
