About the Desktop Support Engineer Position

We are looking for a bright Desktop Support Engineer to provide day to day technical support to our employees. This Engineer will give support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required.

Shift : Fixed Night Shifts (6 : 30pm to 3 : 30am IST)

Desktop Support Engineer Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of employees issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • Study, diagnose, troubleshoot and recognize solutions to solve customer issues
  • Follow standard methods for proper escalation of unsolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Provide timely and detailed feedback to customers
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
  • Installation, configuration & Management of Operating system (Windows) & application software.
  • Setup and maintenance of IT systems & devices.
  • Knowledge of data backup.
  • Knowledge of Network Device & Troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of VOIP
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Ability to learn and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Should be able to understand technical terms.
