Role purpose
Responsible to establish project framework for delivering Engineering and design , provide cross discipline supervision by directing project and discipline execution activities.
- Build trustand positive relationship between engineering teams of Customer ,lead office& GID . Foster culture of continual improvement .
- Ensure proper implementationand application of work share methodology / work processes . Promote operational level team work in support of successful work share .
- Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health , safety , environmental , statutory, IP, Customer specs, local / global standardsanddesign integrity requirements
- Participates in project execution strategy and planning . Drivesinnovative solutions , technology advances.Develops Engineering plansto supportsuccessfulproject delivery
- Resource loading andskill requirement is well aligned with Dept Managers. Mentors / trainsand supports the processof training
Key accountabilities
Review professional service estimatesand provide inputs for preparing competitive proposal for winning , benchmark against Industry standardsTechnical integrity in design and safe work practices (HSE ) . Identify and mitigate workshare risk and challenges . Drive“ First time right “ concept& ownership .Ensure all design engineering activities meet or exceed engineering standards with regards to cost , safety, time and performance .Plan and manageEngineering data systems, specs and standards , models , procurement specifications and collaboration tools . . Includingcommunication plan , PWP , WRP ,etc.Manage value improvement processtoreducetheCustomerTICanddigital solutions to enhance efficiency . Articulate“ Big picture “ toengineering teams &deliver ahead of curve .Develop solutions to engineering problem which meet or exceed customer expectationsDevelop engineering strategiesand plan , to supportearly procurementand constructionManage engineeringdeliveries with project quality requirement , negotiating revisions to cost and schedule where necessaryUse of proper project control tool and metricsfor “ Stewardship “managementMetrics & KPIs

Bachelors Degree in Engineering is a must. 18+ years for relevant experience in the similar IndustryStrong understandingabout cross-discipline work , interfacesand work sequencingAdvanced understanding of systems, processes and tools .Achieve results set by self and others , pushes to achieve stretched goalsExperience in project , engineering , quality, Engineering tools and procurement managementEmploys principles of active listening and encourages feedback from othersDeals with new concepts and complexities comfortably . Can do “ Parity “ analysisNumber of Direct Reports (if known / estimate) - Project Engineering Teams
