Technical Lead - Java

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of our production systems and applications.

This role involves managing a team responsible for performance monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing system improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, microservices, Kafka, and cloud technologies, with a proven ability to troubleshoot in complex production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a production support team to ensure 24 / 7 availability of critical systems.
• Work within an Agile environment to design, build, and implement business solutions.
• Monitor application performance across mobile and desktop platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Develop and deploy high-quality, robust applications and business solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical architects to design systems and data flows.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Create effort estimations and drive the team toward successful project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software design, development, and Skills Required :
• Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices.
• REST / SOAP APIs, MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB / Redis).
• Kafka, Redis, Amazon :
• Linux Scripting, PL / SQL, Angular 2.0+, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Redis.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scaled Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Background in developing and deploying applications in real-time, multi-threaded environments.
• Working knowledge of Unix / Linux.
• Solid understanding of design patterns.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL (queries, procedures, views, joins).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams :
• Associate degree in BCA or a related field (minimum); Bachelors degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
