Location - Tiruppur

Job Title - Fabric Manager

Qualification - Any degree in Knitting / Textile / Garment Technology

Job Description Only candidates from Garment / Apparel Industry (Knitting)

Key Performance Indicator - Quality to be maintained between A to A+ rating

  • Leading Fabric team and ensuring ready fabric supply on time based on requirement
  • Source different types of fabric with various vendors
  • Quality checking of finished fabric
  • Dispatching finished fabric to units for garment making
  • Physical stock verification of Yarn, Grey Fabric, Finished Fabric on monthly basis
  • Stock reconciliation with vendors on monthly basis
  • Involved in regular follow up with all Factory's and Vendor units for fabric and production.
  • Getting production plan from managers and plan fabric requirement
  • To ensure quality check of all types of fabric
  • Ready fabric stock to be maintained at vendor and company warehouse as per requirement
  • Fabric for New Product development as per customers and market requirements

Technical Skill Set -

  • Good knowledge on various aspects of fabric from yarn to finishing
  • Knowledge on all quality aspects of fabric checking
  • Excellent knowledge of Knitting, Processing and Finishing
  • Manage multiple types of fabric

    • Personal Skills -

  • Manage and lead a large team of people with positive approach and discipline
  • Co-ordination skills with various internal departments
  • Honesty / Integrity
  • Problem Solving
  • Decision Making

    • Other Skills -

  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel
  • Data analysis of vendors
  • Working knowledge of SAP / ERP will be desirable
  • Languages - Tamil , English, Hindi (preferable)
