CBSE PGT Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry for a CBSEaffiliated school. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to senior secondary students (Classes XI and XII) and preparing them for CBSE board exams and competitive examinations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery :

Plan prepare and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

  • Ensure all syllabus topics are comprehensively covered emphasizing conceptual clarity.

Student Development :

Foster critical thinking problemsolving and analytical skills in students.

  • Provide individual attention to students to address their learning challenges and needs.
  • Conduct practical sessions in the laboratory and ensure the safe handling of equipment and chemicals.

    • Examinations and Assessments :

    Design and conduct periodic tests assignments and mock exams to evaluate student performance.

  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve.

    • Classroom Management :

    Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.

  • Promote active participation and collaboration among students.

    • Academic Support :

    Assist students with competitive exam preparation (JEE NEET etc.) by providing additional learning resources and support.

  • Keep track of individual progress and provide remedial classes as required.

    • Professional Development :

    Stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry and CBSE curriculum changes.

  • Attend workshops seminars and training programs to enhance teaching skills.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Education : Master s degree in Chemistry (or related field) with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a CBSE school.

    Subject Knowledge :

    Indepth understanding of Chemistry concepts including organic inorganic and physical chemistry.

  • Proficiency in teaching laboratory techniques and practicals.

    • Teaching Skills :

    Strong instructional and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to explain complex topics in a simple and engaging manner.

    • Assessment and Evaluation :

    Expertise in designing assessments that evaluate a range of skills and knowledge.

    Communication :

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively interact with students parents and colleagues.

    • Technical Proficiency :

    Familiarity with digital teaching tools smartboards and educational software.

  • Ability to conduct online classes effectively if required.

    • Personal Competencies :

    Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Patience adaptability and a passion for teaching.
