Job description

We are hiring experienced SAP ABAP Developers for a fully remote, long-term freelance engagement with a leading global client. You will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications across multiple modules and landscapes as part of a broader S / 4HANA transformation and global support initiative.

Though it's a fully remote freelance role, the Developer needs to be fully available during 12.30pm to 8.30pm IST. Please apply only if you meet this requirement.

What You’ll Do :

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom objects and enhancements using SAP ABAP
  • Work across standard SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) as required by the functional teams
  • Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects), and OData services
  • Support SAP enhancements using User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, and ABAP OO
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions
  • Assist with performance tuning, debugging, testing, and technical documentation
  • Support integration scenarios with SAP and non-SAP systems where needed

Key Skills and Experience :

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
  • Experience working on SAP S / 4HANA projects (implementation, upgrade, or support)
  • Strong command over ABAP reports (classical and interactive), smart forms, Adobe forms, and module pool programming
  • Expertise in data dictionary, performance tuning, debugging, and enhancements
  • Experience with OData, CDS views, and AMDP is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Fiori integration and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) is a plus
  • Good communication and documentation skills with a collaborative mindset
