Technical Expertise :

Installing and configuring Windows Server AD, DNS, DHCP and software, hardware and networks.

Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

• Windows Server 2019, Linux / Unix, LAN Knowledge, Server Hardware Dell VX / HP / IBM Troubleshooting, Networking Knowledge, Serve Performance Tuning.

Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

Preparing monthly Uptime report, Call report, Incident reports, Utilization reports and other documentation as per requirement.

Analyzing the logs of the Servers and take necessary action against security violations.

Carry out the changes in firewall for internet access related issues, NAT, Website hosting, Traffic shaping, DHCP etc.

Evaluate, test, and install new network hardware, software and services

Establish backup policies and procedures

Responsibilities :

Managing Windows Server 2019, VMWARE, Hyper-v, RHEL, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.

P2V and V2V conversions by using VMware Converter

Experience on Hyper-v ,ESXI,guest OS installation, setting up of VM priorities, cloning and Snapshots

Used VMware vMotion to eliminate application downtime from planned server maintenance by migrating running virtual machines between hosts.

Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare ESXi infrastructure

Diagnosis of VMware performance and perform VMware performance tuning

Schedules and perform VMware installations, patching and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established client’s SLA and procedures

Configure iSCSI and NFS storage in VMware

Managing Veeam Backup

Installation, Configuration of storage servers

Configuration & Maintaining WSUS

Maintaining and supporting servers for File Server, Ftp Server, Application Server and IIS server.

Troubleshooting the Client Application and DB Servers.

Troubleshooting and Solving the Issues for User issues raised in ticketing tool and closing the ticket as per Manage engine service desk
