REPORTING TO : Sr. Manager – QC
RESPONSIBLITIES : Inspection Duties
Incoming Material Inspection : Inspect materials upon arrival and clear Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) on a daily basis.In-House Inspection : Perform inspections on parts during the manufacturing process, checking against drawings. Communicate results to the production department for subsequent processes. Recheck any rework points during re-inspection.Vendor Inspection : Conduct inspections at supplier sites for job work and parts, and prepare the corresponding outsource inspection reportsDocumentation and Reporting :
Inspection Reports : Prepare detailed inspection reports and checklists in both soft and hard copies as required.Record Keeping : Maintain records of assembly inspections project-wise, ensuring all inspection activities are documented appropriately.Quality Assurance :
CAPA : Identify Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for parts with deviations.Final Inspection : Conduct final inspections post-assembly and painting, following a checklist to ensure compliance with quality standards.Coordination and Communication :Cross-Functional Team (CFT) Interaction : Discuss material requirements and apply the fundamental 3F concept (Fit, Form, Function) during material inspection.
Technical Knowledge :
Sheet Metal Fabrication Experience : Apply knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, and assembling, to ensure quality and precision.Drawing Interpretation : Accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide inspections and ensure parts meet required tolerances.Instrumentation Proficiency : Utilize measurement tools such as Vernier callipers, Micrometres, Ring / Plug gauges, and jig fixtures accurately.System Experience :
SAP System : Utilize SAP for relevant inspection and quality control tasks.AGE : 25 and above
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
ESSENTIAL : Diploma in Mechanical / BE Mechanical.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
ESSENTIAL : 4 to 5 years (Diploma) / 2 to 3 Years (BE)
DESIRABLE : Experience in working with a Manufacturing firm. Must have knowledge of SAP software.
DESIRABLE SKILL SETS :
Good written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to multi task and work under pressure.Willing to take direction and guidance from the Sr. manager, be adaptable to change and be able to work independently.Must be knowledge about SAP, Sheet Metal Fabrication & Welding process.
