Job description

Job Title : HR Head

Location : AVF World, Pune

Department : Human Resources

Reports to : CEO / Managing Director

Number of Position : 2

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Management :
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, advising on people-related matters.
  • Forecast HR trends and ensure the company adapts to evolving workforce needs.
  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment :
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the hiring of top talent.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and manage workforce planning.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement :
  • Maintain a positive work environment and foster an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Develop programs to boost employee engagement, retention, and morale.
  • Handle employee grievances and mediate conflicts to ensure fair and consistent resolution.
  • Performance Management :
  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support employees in their career development.
  • Manage promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions.
  • Compensation & Benefits :
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations related to compensation.
  • Manage payroll processes and liaise with the finance department for accurate compensation management.
  • Training & Development :
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, and consultations.
  • Develop and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and leadership abilities.
  • Promote career development and succession planning.
  • Compliance & Policy Management :
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and are updated regularly.
  • Monitor changes in labor regulations and implement necessary changes in the organization.
  • Ensure the company complies with all employee safety, welfare, and wellness regulations.
  • HR Technology :
  • Oversee the implementation and management of HR management systems (HRMS) to streamline HR operations.
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and improve processes.
  • Leadership & Team Management :
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Foster teamwork and provide clear direction to the HR department.
  • Drive the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA in HR or an equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills :
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing full HR functions and HR strategy development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR management software and systems.
