Insurance Coordinator

This is an Insurance advisory role which typically involves providing expert advice and guidance on insurance products and related investments. The role involves reviewing proposals, managing and processing insurance claims, verifying benefits, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities :

Coordinating Client Consultation : Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.

Policy Analysis : Review and analyse clients' existing insurance policies to identify gaps in coverage.

Recommendations : Coordinate with clients on appropriate insurance products, including life, health, property, and liability insurance.

Market Research : Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the country’s insurance policies and regulations and stay updated on market trends, regulations, and new insurance products to offer the best advice.

Claims Assistance : Assist clients in the claims process, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

Networking : Build and maintain relationships with insurance providers, underwriters, and other industry professionals.

Compliance : Ensure all insurance policies and practices comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards including collaboration with internal departments to streamline insurance processes on a regular basis.

Sales Targets : Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting and selling insurance products.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred).

Experience : Proven past experience insurance advisory, coordination, sales etc is mandatory.

Licensing : Relevant insurance licenses may be required (e.g., life, health, property, casualty).

Required Skill Set :

  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex information simply.
