Research Mentor

About the Opportunity

We are expanding our mentor pool and are looking for accomplished researchers in specific subject areas—including Psychology, Visual Arts, Physics, Law, Mathematics, Computer Science, Political Science, International Relations, Robotics, and related fields —to guide high-school students through the complete research cycle in 12 weeks. Each mentor will work one-on-one with a student for roughly 12 sessions , helping them transform an initial idea into a publication-ready manuscript.

Key Responsibilities

• Subject-Matter Guidance – Help students refine their interests into focused research questions and project roadmaps tailored to your discipline.
• Methodology & Ethics – Teach discipline-appropriate research design, data-gathering methods, and ethical standards.
• Draft Review & Feedback – Provide detailed feedback that sharpens analysis, structure, and academic writing while ensuring all work is original and properly cited.
• Publication Preparation – Coach students on polishing their work for submission to peer-reviewed journals or other reputable outlets, always preserving student ownership of the research.
