Our UX Strategy, Research and Design team brings to life a unified digital platform that supports our specialty
retail brands across multiple geographies and partners. The products and capabilities we deliver enable us to
accelerate global digital growth significantly. Through various methodologies, we support product teams that
build configurable features and capabilities to drive an enhanced end-user experience and greater business
performance continually. We do this by :
- Understanding the motivations and needs of our millions of customers and building design solutions
that best serve them
Collaborating with partners to create technology, capabilities, and processes that allow for efficientset-up, monitoring, and management of their digital experiences
Advocating for the learnability, efficiency, memorability, and desirability of new or enhanced featuresand functionality across the breadth of the user journey
Operating within a Lean / Agile development process that allows us to launch and learn quicklyHow we build solutions is equally important to what we create. All UX team members are expected to
advocate for and design within a systems-based methodology that allows for configurable customization and
specialization of re-usable components that enables scalability and quality.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The app and web product teams are multidisciplinary experts who work collaboratively to evolve our digital
commerce mobile apps and web experience for our brands and their most loyal and engaged customers.
The Manager of UX Design is a strategic partner in identifying customer and business opportunities while
leading app designers to design features and capabilities to deliver that value. They are passionate customer
advocates ensuring their work is both valuable and delightful. They are both systems thinkers and able to lead
design for emotion. They know the brand inside out through maintaining solid relationships with their creative,
marketing and merchandiser partners to help craft best-in-class brand experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Well-versed in best practices for iOS, Android applications and mobile web experiencesManage a team of talented lead and senior designers to drive culture, desired business outcomes, andindividual’s growth in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Lead the design for the distinct needs and expectations of VS&Co’s customers with user research,brand insights, data analytics, and competitive analysis as your guides
Produce user flow diagrams that articulate complex user journeys across multiple web pages andtouchpoints
Work with cross-functional teams to support and evangelize alignment around processes andmethodology to create efficiencies and best practices for collaboration
Support designers’ career growth plans, navigating day-to-day situations, and preparing their work tobe reviewed by our team and our partners
Partner with design leadership, actively participating in mentoring and patterning best practices indesign, our culture, and our rigor and craft
Tailor app experiences for parity with relevant new web features and through and omni-channel lensStructure and lead collaborative working sessions with cross-functional partners and other productpartners to identify and define what problems your product is trying to solve and how best to solve
them
Use, contribute to, and advocate for a systems-based design methodology that is designed to supportmulti-tenant implementations of solutions
Work side-by-side with Front End Development and Back End Development to build and validate allvisual / functional enhancements
Present solutions to cross-functional and brand partners, clearly articulating the UX design principlesand methodologies that informs the work

8+ years of product design experience2+ years of people management experienceUnderstanding of the capabilities and best practices relating to the design and interaction for mobileapplications, iOS and Android
Understanding of best practices for mobile first web customer experiencesRetail / fashion brand experience desired; e-commerce experience idealExperience delivering on business and creative goals through designPrevious management experienceAn online portfolio of case studies highlighting :Demonstration of full design process, including numerous diverse artifacts (ex. research, flows,sketches, wires, low- and high-fidelity designs)
