We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Architect to join our team and represent the CTO office in India. This role will be pivotal in driving the architectural vision, ensuring alignment with our global technology strategy, and fostering collaboration with product and engineering teams. As a key member of the CTO office, you will have the unique opportunity to influence critical technical decisions, establish best practices, and work closely with engineering leads, product teams, and leadership to ensure successful delivery of the critical product innovations and technology initiatives.

What You"ll Do :

  • Develop a long-term technology vision and roadmap for the responsible areas, ensure technical architecture supports business goals and drive architectural consistency across product areas.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of architectural solutions, by providing architectural guidance and support.
  • Lead the design of scalable and secure solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring integration with existing systems and alignment with technology standards.
  • Establish technology standards (e.g., suite qualities and fundamentals) and ensure adherence to product standards, technology guidelines, architectural best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and practices across product and engineering teams in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to SAP’s technology strategy through Cross-Product Architecture (CPA), regularly communicate results and decisions to the architect community and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the CTO office in key strategic discussions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and customers.
  • Provide mentorship to architects and engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What You Bring :

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with proven experience in leading architectural decisions and large-scale solution designs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS solutions, data architecture, and Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Strong proficiency in microservices architecture, API and event-driven systems, containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Good understanding of AI technologies, including the integration of AI / ML into enterprise systems, driving intelligent automation, and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Focused, responsible individual who enjoys working on a team and thrives under pressure
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
