About Client :

A leading auto components Company.

Experience : 12 - 15 Years

Location : Chennai.

Roles & Responsibility :

  • Responsible for managing end-to-end blue-collar recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding blue-collar workers such as factory employees, technicians, and drivers.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, including working with staffing agencies, vendors, and local recruitment sources.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory labor laws (Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, EPF, ESI, etc.) and stay up-to-date with regulatory changes.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance records, ensuring timely filings with government agencies.
  • Oversee contract labor management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and managing external contractors and staffing vendors.
  • Monitor performance and conduct regular audits of contract labor arrangements to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Implement and manage employee engagement and welfare programs to improve employee retention, morale, and satisfaction, particularly for blue-collar employees.
  • Coordinate employee health initiatives, welfare activities, and other social programs.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and concerns, ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Support HR operations, including payroll and attendance management for blue-collar employees.
  • Ensure accurate employee records are maintained, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the performance management process, handling appraisals, feedback, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Organize and facilitate training programs for skill development and upskilling of blue-collar employees.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related issues, fostering a productive and compliant work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the workforce, fostering good employee relations and trust.
  • Collaborate with senior management and HR teams to align HR strategies with overall business goals.
